2025 Intern - Global Facilities Management and Real Estate

The 2025 summer intern will participate in specific areas of real estate programs (technology deployments, occupancy management, process improvement), construction and renovation projects (planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout), Facilities Management and Workplace Services (food & beverage, concierge) at Danaher HQ and other office locations (regional travel only).


As an Intern, you will:

  • Be a project manager for our Global Facilities Business
  • Create or edit documents for internal team communications
  • Update the team SharePoint page to improve visibility and understanding of current deliverables
  • Assist with the development of capital appropriation requests and capital appropriation program, policies, and procedures
  • Support the rollout of the Operational Efficiency initiative and develop standard work
  • Assist with facility condition assessment, capital plans, and facilities administration
  • Coordinate and develop skills in vendor management, work order management, and client relationship management
  • Assist with processing invoices and tracking for Facilities/Real Estate expenditures
  • Have an opportunity to travel to other Danaher Sites to experience planning and design

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in real estate, architecture, design, facilities management, or nonprofit management - Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors
  • Organized and attention to detail
  • Passion for Real Estate and Project Management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with multiple people on a variety of differing projects and meet assigned deadline
  • Desire to learn more about our industry property management and real estate transaction
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Corporate Real Estate.

 

Compensation:

$25-$27 per hour (varies with experience)
