FWS Research Assistant - Human Research Protection Program
Description:
The position will support the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) in completing administrative duties associated with supporting the mission and goals of the HRPP. The HRPP consists of five divisions: (1) Institutional Review Board Operations, (2) IRB Operations QA/QI, (3) Post-Approval Monitoring and Quality Improvement Program (PAMQuIP), (4) External IRB Reliance, and (5) Education and Outreach.
Duties:
The administrative duties will vary depending on the assigned division which ranges from reconciling records; developing tracking HRPP logs, scheduling meetings, protocol development consultations, scheduling site visits, or other duties assigned.
Remote Options:
The student will have the option to work remotely if necessary.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
Must have an interest in research administration, research administration education, research compliance, or oversight.
Must complete CITI training with 1 week of hire
Attention to detail
Able to effectively communicate with University faculty, and staff (on the phone and in-person)
Comfortable using computers and other office equipment
Good writing and verbal skills
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Technical/research/journalism writing skills is a plus
Maintain University HIPAA standards and IRB requirements
Hours: A reasonable weekly schedule will be determined between the supervisor, not to exceed 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday during normal working hours.
