This Position Will:
Provide direct care and supervision of clients within the milieu in accordance with the agency treatment program including Agency Behavior Treatment Plan (ABTP) and Universal Rules. Under direct supervision of Teaching staff, provides assistance in the area of instruction and classroom management to ensure a quality learning environment for the students. Under the direct supervision on the Unit Coordinator, implements individual and group programming on the units during non-school days.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 5 years related experience OR Paraprofessional License
- Demonstrated proficiency in skills for basic math, reading, language arts and other core academic subject areas
- Per DCFS Regulations must be at least 21 years of age
Salary:
$18.50 – $25.91/hour
*(additional work experience can be added to the pay scale, once applicable)
On-site training! We offer a 6 month mentor program and initial and on-going training and professional development in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and working in a trauma informed milieu.
Allendale’s Specialized Educational Services Program is designed and dedicated to help students advance their academic skills, build self-confidence and independence, and identify and reach personal goals through an individualized K-12 therapeutic day school program.
