Part-Time | Freelance or Contract | ~5 hours a week
Willamere | Remote or Ideally Based in Charleston / Summerville, SC

About Willamere

Willamere is a Charleston-based kitchen textile brand centered around slow living, thoughtful gathering, and beautiful everyday moments in the kitchen and around the table. Each collection begins as hand-painted artwork and is transformed into heirloom-quality textiles designed to make hosting and daily rituals feel special.

We are looking for a creative, highly aesthetic, and detail-oriented Social Media Creator / Graphic Designer to support our growing brand across content and social media.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong eye for design, understands elevated brand aesthetics, and can help bring a cohesive visual presence to life across social media and digital marketing. The right person is both creative and organized — someone who can execute graphics, plan the content calendar with guidance, and help maintain a consistent and polished brand presence.

Responsibilities

  • Create social media graphics aligned with Willamere's brand aesthetic
  • Plan and organize social media content calendars
  • Design Instagram stories, feed graphics, launch assets, and occasional email or website graphics
  • Support content creation ideas and help translate product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand stories into visual assets
  • Edit and format content for Instagram and other digital platforms
  • Help maintain a cohesive visual identity across all customer touchpoints
  • Organize and manage creative assets, templates, and files
  • Collaborate on marketing concepts for launches, holidays, gifting moments, and seasonal campaigns
  • Create captions and copy that align with the brand voice

Qualifications

  • Strong design eye with a portfolio that reflects refined, elevated, and brand-conscious work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Express, or Canva
  • Understanding of Instagram and social media best practices
  • Ability to work within an established brand aesthetic while contributing fresh ideas
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work ahead on deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and responsive
  • Experience with lifestyle, home, fashion, or product-based brands is a plus

Ideal Fit

You are someone who:

  • Has excellent taste and a strong sense of visual composition
  • Understands soft, timeless, classic design aesthetics
  • Can create polished work that feels elevated and intentional
  • Is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently
  • Can take feedback well and refine work quickly
  • Is excited by thoughtful branding, beautiful products, and storytelling through visuals

Time Commitment

Part-time, freelance, or contract Approximately 5–10 hours per week to start, with room to grow based on fit and business needs
