Start Date: May 2026
Hours: Friday and Saturday, 10:00- 4:00
$20/hour

Gallery security will
• Perform gallery security and provide a welcoming presence to our visitors.
• Perform set up and breakdown for museum events.

Duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
Operations and Security
 

• Provide security in galleries and respond to visitors’ questions about the building/collection and/or
  refer them to a colleague who might provide additional information.

It is the responsibility of the Gallery Security team to provide a welcoming environment to visitors and remind them, when needed, of our gallery rules to ensure the safety of the artwork, the building, staff, and visitors. The Gallery Security team will be courteous and clear and provide a welcoming and
pleasant experience for all visitors.

Required Qualifications:
• Previous experience in art gallery or museum or similar institution.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for three hours.
• Willingness to contribute to a positive and collaborative culture that welcomes all audiences.
