Licensing and Marketing Coordinator

Gateway Licensing is hiring a Licensing and Marketing Coordinator to work full-time, on-site role based in Manhattan, NY, at our client's offices. Our client is a New York based apparel company that operates a portfolio of high-velocity brands including Dickies, Von Dutch, Perry Ellis, Southpole, Warner Brothers, etc.

Objectives

  • Establish a key role in the internal movement, tracking, reporting, submissions, and all communications within Client for licensing.
  • Build relationships and communicate with all external licensing partners (Licensors and Licensees)
  • Create and update/improve all Licensing SOPs

Reports To the Following:

  • Reports to Manager
  • Partners and communicates with President and Owner


Daily Activities to Perform
As a Licensee Coordinator:

Manages all Company Licensed brands in partnership with Manager

  • Submit all required reporting requests on time for Licensors (Placements, Forecasts, Finance, etc.)
  • Partners with Sales and Art/Design to understand current activities and timelines.
  • Partners with Art/Design on all Submissions and artwork requests.
  • Partners with Sales to fill out and finalize all reporting requested by Licensor.
  • Assists Operations/Finance in quarterly royalty reporting and payment schedules. 
  • Assist Manager on any Licensor requests/updates.
  • Assist Manager on any presentations required for Licensing.
  • Schedules and sets agendas for all Licensing status meetings internally and externally.
  • Organizes all data, contracts, information, and communications on Client server to serve as depository records and for ease of access.

As a Licensor Coordinator:
Manages the family brands Licensing in partnership with Manager.

  • Delivers regular communications and updates to current Licensees.
  • Routes internally all Licensees submissions for timely approval and denials.
  • Organize all data, contracts, and communications on Client server to serve as depository records and for ease of access.
  • Updates regularly all Brand PowerPoints and Brand guidelines with new activities and visuals
  • Partners with Operations/Finance to secure all Licensee reports, royalties, and payments.
  • Requests and collects semi-annual forecasts from licensees using forecast template.
  • Schedules and sets agendas for all quarterly and semi-annual meetings with Licensees.
  • Schedules and sets agendas for all quarterly and semi-annual meetings for Licensing internal review with key Client members.

As a Marketing Coordinator:
Manages social media platforms and websites and helps to identify and execute new marketing opportunities.

  • Builds and manages brands’ social media calendars.
  • Manages and updates brands’ websites.
  • Identifies new possible marketing opportunities and presents to manager
  • Executes agreed upon marketing plans
