Middle/Upper School Mathematics Teacher
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our Christian school faculty in August 2026.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong content knowledge across Middle/Upper School mathematics, including the ability to teach Advanced Placement (AP) courses. This educator will inspire students to think critically, foster logical reasoning and solve problems with confidence by employing effective instructional strategies, maintaining high academic expectations and creating an engaging and well-managed classroom environment.
The Mathematics Teacher is expected to integrate a Christian worldview into instruction and to model Christ-centered character in daily interactions. The candidate must actively support the mission, values, and statement of faith of the school and work collaboratively with colleagues, administration, and families.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- ACSI Certification preferred; ACSI Certifiable required.
- Prior teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Understanding of child development for ages of students in class or grade.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer or standing to teach.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
- Must be able to traverse the classroom and adjust one’s tone and height, by bending or leaning, to teach each child.
